Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and SaveStories Media (“SaveStories”, “we”) for the use of savestories.app and everything served from it. By loading a page, submitting a username or downloading a file you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services where you live, to use SaveStories.

SaveStories is a free web tool that lists the publicly visible stories, highlight albums and profile picture of an Instagram account you name, and lets your browser download those files in their original form. The lookup runs without an Instagram login. SaveStories is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.; “Instagram” is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. used here only to describe what the tool works with.

The service depends on data that Instagram makes public and on third-party infrastructure. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

You agree to use SaveStories only for lawful, personal purposes. In particular you will not:

• use saved content in a way that violates the rights of the person who created it, including re-posting it as your own, selling it, or removing attribution;
• use the service to harass, stalk, impersonate or monitor another person;
• attempt to access private accounts, close-friends stories or any content that is not public;
• send automated requests, scrape the site, or interfere with the Turnstile check, rate limits or servers;
• reverse-engineer, mirror or resell the service, or remove the advertising that funds it.

We may block usernames, IP addresses or networks that we believe break these rules, without prior warning.

The stories, highlights and pictures you save belong to the people who posted them (or to their licensors). SaveStories claims no rights in that content, stores no copies of it, and grants you no licence to it beyond what the rights holder and applicable law already allow. You are solely responsible for how you use what you download.

The SaveStories name, logo, site design, text and code are ours. You may link to any page freely; you may not copy the site’s text or present the service as your own.

If you own content shown through the site and object to it, or if you are an account owner who wants your username blocked, contact us at the address in section 8 and we will act promptly.

SaveStories is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that lookups will succeed, that every story will be listed, that files will be free of defects, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Instagram may change how it serves public content at any time, which can stop the tool from working until we adapt.

To the fullest extent the law allows, SaveStories Media and the people who work on the site are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or of content obtained through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero.

You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties that arise from your use of saved content in breach of these terms.

The site shows advertisements delivered by Google AdSense and uses analytics and security services described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control the content of advertisements or the sites they link to and are not responsible for them.

We may revise these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seat of SaveStories Media, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum.
